Individual Research
& Group Leadership
Individual Research:
-
Explore on-line and library resources related to your selected topic.
-
Attempt to identify key essays, literary works (or film/video) suitable for our class.
Group Leadership:
-
Include all members of your group in a meeting as soon as possible. At that meeting work together to coordinate individual research.
-
Drawing on everyone's research as a group select one or more essays, a literary works and/or film for all other students in the class to read/view. Your group could require everyone to read the same work or break our class into groups reading/viewing different works. Obtain approval from the professor for your decisions and inform the class of selection and how to get copies.
-
With your group plan our class meeting, prepare (large and small group) discussion questions, presentations, handouts, etc.
