Teach Climate Justice

This assignment involves groups of students taking responsibility to teach about a topic of climate justice of their own choosing. Your classmates should understand the issue, relevant history, why it is a question of justice, and steps or actions that might be followed to restore justice.

The assignment includes: 

1. Creating a Google Doc with links to high quality reading that will help other class members understand the climate justice issue you are teaching.  Provide Allen with the link so he can add to the syllabus.    (25%)

2. Develop a short pre-class writing assignment where students can synthesize the reading and share ideas.  Could be on the same Google Doc, or one linked to it. & Develop a short post-class writing assignment where students can synthesize class meeting and share ideas. Could be on the same Google Doc, or one linked to it. (25%)

3. Lead a focused class meeting on the topic. Should include discussion of carefully prepared questions.  Could also include a presentation. (25%)

4. Show involvement of all group members in the teaching and related activities. All participating group members to get the same grade. (25%)
